Lessons from the Show
von offered us many wonderful lessons on life and leadership that point us towards an authentic, happy and fulfilling life and career including:
- Not feeling that you need to solve all the problems you tackle, and allowing that they may not even be solved in your lifetime;
- If you don’t respect other people’s interests, you will get shut out;
- How important it is to focus not on leading problems to solution, but to focus on training the next generation of leaders (including mentoring) so that they can solve these problems and the problems to come.
