Lessons from the Show
Michael talked to us about his life and his business and offered us many wonderful lessons that point us towards an authentic, happy and fulfilling life and career including:
- Schedule just 15 minutes of “ice cube” time each week, make a commitment to your self to keep it, and start there; most people respect a commitment;
- Build a practice out of not taking on the urgency of everyone you meet. Reflect on your life and your priorities while your in the midst of things;
- Reflect on and shift your definition of success: revenue and margin are important, but surely how much you enjoy what you are doing is too; and so, surely, is life balance and integration, which is something you can work on every day.
You can contact Michael by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 404-401-9549 and you can find out more about his business at http://simplemindinc.com/.
